Three Nigerians Claim Prize In The GLO CAF Award Night For 2016.


Nigerian nominees Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Asisat Oshoala all won  in the GLO-CAF award 2016 held in Abuja on Thursday night as history was made.
Hisory was made on Thursday, 5 January 2017 at the International Conference in Abuja as Riyad Mahrez was crowned the African Player of the year 2016 and Ugandan goalkeeper, Denis Onyango wins the African Player of the Year 2016 - Based in Africa.

Mahrez, 25, becomes the first Algerian and the maiden North African to win the prestigious individual award in African football since its inception by the Confederation of African Football CAF in the year 1992.
