ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH-WEEK 18 FIXTURES AND PREVIEW ANALYSIS


The English Premier League takes the center stage on Monday as sixteen teams will make eight matches to be played on Boxing day and one fixture on Tuesday and last fixture on Wednesday to complete the week-18 tie matches.
Former England manager Sam Allardyce who is appointed to take over at Crystal Palace last week after the sacking of Alan Pardew, Sam will see his first game in-charge of Palace against Watford as the early kick-off match on Boxing day.


MONDAY, 26TH DECEMBER FIXTURES


WATFORD vs CRYSTAL PALACE............. 13:30 GMT
Crystal Palace who are currently one point and one position above relegation zone will travel to Vicarage Road stadium under new manager Sam Allardyce to face Watford at twelve position. Both teams will fight for a win to bounce back from their previous league matches defeat as Watford lose away to Sunderland last weekend and Crystal Palace also lost at home to Chelsea.
Watford last five league matches have only seen them win one and lose four while Crystal Palace have won one, drawn one and lose three in their last five League matches.


ARSENAL vs WEST BROMWICH ALBION.......... 16:00 GMT
Arsenal having lose their last two Premier League matches to Everton and Manchester City will face a good defencive side of Tony Pulis at the Emirate stadium on Monday afternoon kick-off.
Arsenal were dropped to fourth position from second and now they are nine points behind league leaders, Arsene Wenger men are said to go out for a maximum point which is expected not to be an easy win if they are to get the points to themselves. Westbrom who are currently eight on the stand are looking good so far this season and are solid at their defence line, and now they will want to frustrate Arsene Wenger's men and hope for a better result from them.
Arsenal's Welbeck is back in training after a long term injury and have not played any game since last seven month will be available for selection in the game. Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Santi Cazola and Shkodran Mustafi all still out with injury problems.


BURNLEY vs MIDDLESBROUGH ............... 16:00 GMT
Middlesbrough will travel to Turf Moor Stadium to play Burnley as the two newly promoted teams encounter on Boxing day, a win for Burnley will see them climb above Middlesbrough in the table having just won one out of their last Premier League games. But Middlesbrough are a better side so far and are strong in all position to get result from opponents after a 3-0 win against Swansea last weekend.


CHELSEA vs AFC BOURNEMOUTH............... 16:00 GMT
Table leaders, Chelsea, will be at home to host Bournemouth who are tenth on the table. Bournemouth this season have managed to defeat one of the top four, Liverpool in a dramatic seven goals thriller having come from 3-1 down to win the game by 4-3 courtsey of a late strike from Nathan Ake to hand them the win. Chelsea will be without their high scoring striker and Premier League highest goal scorer so far Diego Costa and teammate N'Golo Kante after both players picked up their fifth yellow card last weekend at Westbrom.
Chelsea who are currently on eleven Premier League matches win, their best personal league run ever in history will wish to extend their winning run to ensure they top the table for the new year and hoping to break Arsenal's 13-Premier-League match winning in a row for a single season. A win for Chelsea will means they break their own personal winning record of ELEVEN League matches in a row.


LEICETER CITY vs EVERTON ......................... 16:00 GMT
The champions, Leicester City who are currently finding it difficult to compete against any opponents to get a better result in the league this season will host another strugling side at the King Power Stadium on Monday for their Boxing day game.
Everton have only won two matches in the Premier league from their last 12 games and are ninth on the table with 23 points and Leicester City are fifteenth on the table with 17 points. Leicester will be without their forward man Jamie Vardy after he got a straight red card in their last league match.


MANCHETER UNITED vs SUNDERLAND................ 16:00 GMT
Manchester United are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games winning four and drawn four having lose last to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge by 4-0, will host David Moyes' Sunderland at Old Trafford. Mourinho who currently release a statement of impossibility to catch table toppers Chelsea but eyeing the Champions league spot is determined to win every possible game in the league to keep pressure on those above United at the stable, United are four point behind Arsenal who are currently fourth position on the log.
David Moyes will return to Old Trafford for the first time since his dismissal having coach United after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Sunderland have only won four games in the league so far having fourteen points and sitting eighteen on the table.


SWANSEA CITY vs WEST HAM UNITED............ 16:00 GMT
Relegation battlers Swansea City will host Slaven Billic men at the Liberty Stadium. Swansea City have not been good this season unlike in last league campaign, they are currently nineteenth on the table with twelve points in seventeen games. West Ham United are thirteenth on the table with nineteen points having won their last two league games to make it five winning this season but they have not been too good at front side and their defence is not solid enough because they conceed more goals than they ave scoes.


HULL CITY vs MANCHESTER CITY........... 18:15 GMT
Bottom table team Hull City will be at home to host Pep Guardiola's Manchester City at their KCOM Stadium as the last game on Boxing Day. City will still miss their striker Aguero who is on four matches suspension and the game on Monday will be the last game for his suspension, Brazilian Fernandinho is back in the squad for City after serving hos own three matches suspension which ended in their win against Arsenal last weekend.
Newly promoted Hull City are sitting last on the table with twelve points after seventeen games.

TUESDAY 27th DECEMBER

LIVERPOOL vs STOKE CITY .................... 18:15 GMT
Liverpool are currently second on the table with 37 points will host Stoke City who are eleventh on the table with 21 points. Liverpool defeated Everton away in their last match courtesy of Sadio Mane late goal. Liverpool will be without Philipe Coutinho who is still nursing injury but might be available for selection in their next game.



WEDNESDAY 28th DECEMBER

SOUTHAMPTON vs TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR ....................20:45 GMT
Spurs will travel to St Mary's Stadium to try and get maximum point to give Manchester United tough time of getting closer to them and as well mount Pressure on getting into the top four spot While Southampton will continue their fine form of the season so far having climbed seventh position last weekend with 24 points from seventeen game.
