Super Falcons Of Nigeria Protesting At The Gate Entrance Of National Assembly Abuja.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Wednesday morning took to the street of Abuja the Capital City of Nigeria to make a peaceful protest down to the National House of Assembly NASS.

The ladies who recently defeated Cameroon at the final match of the just concluded African Women Cup of Nation AWCON till now have not receive their match bonus and allowances due, they all carry a placard each with different text inscription to stage their protest at the NASS knowingly that their protest came on the heels of President Buhari's presentation of the 2017 budget .

Falcons described their neglect as pathetic and embarrassing in spite their sacrifice to the nation, they said it was necessary the president waded into the matter so that smiles could-return to their faces and for upcoming footballers not discouraged from doing the nation proud.

Among the inscriptions on their placard reads: "WE ARE BEGGING, PLEASE PAY US OUR MONEY"............. "WE HAVE MADE THE NATION PROUD, WE DESERVE TO BE TREATED FAIRLY".

"NASS INTERVENE IN OUR MATTER PLEASE"........ "HELP TELL THE SPORTS MINISTER TO PAY US OUR ALLOWANCES".

Former minister of sports, Bala Kaoje said that the protest should be an embarrassment to President Buhari, the minister of sports, Solomon Dalung, and Nigeria as a whole because the situation was not properly managed by Solomon Dalung.

Kaoje stressed that the crisis is a bad precedent for the younger players coming through the ranks and heroines, who have triumphed recently in a tournament, should never be treated in that manner.
