Akwa Ibom State Government  Charge Committee To Slash Ticket Price For Supporters



The Super Eagles' camp in Abuja was filled of activities yesterday following the arrival of all the 23 players invited by Technical Adviser, Grenot Rohr, for Saturday's Russia 2018 FIFA world cup qualifier match against the North Africans, Algeria.

Fans who will crowd the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, to watch the Super Eagles against Algeria will have to pay N1000 for covered seats and N500 for popular side.

The permanent secretary in the Akwa Ibom state ministry of youth and sports, Mr. Nse Edem said: "Given the importance of the match and high expectation of Nigerians, the match tickets are certainly worth more than what they are being offered".


Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state has charged the organizing committee headed by the secretary to the state Government, Sir Etekamba Umoren to make the tickets affordable so that we can have a full house to cheer the Super Eagles on Saturday.
