NIGERIA U-17 SUFFERED SECOND DEFEAT IN 24-HOURS TO IRAN U-19

The Golden Eaglet  Loose to Iran U-19 in Suwon Tournament at South Korea.



Nigeria U-17 suffered another defeat today in the ongoing Suwon Continetal Tournament in South Korea just barely 24-hours after they suffered a heavy defeat to England U-20 side in same tournament.

The Golden Eaglet led by coach Manu Garba lost their second game to Iran U-19, a Reza Karamolachaab's 79th minute strike handed the victory to Amir Hossein Side on Thursday to silenced Manu Garba's boys after a good dislay in the first half that ended goalless.

The reigning World Champions were hpoing for a redemption after falling 8-1 to England side in their first game, but a loss of concentration cost them the goal against Iran in their second game which saw them bow to Amir Hossein Peyrovani's side.

The Nigeria U-17 will now face the hosts side, South Korea in their last game of the tournament on Saturday.

South Korea defeated England 2-1 to remain in contention for the top prize, with six points from two games.
