Arsenal and PSG Join Atletico And Bayern In Last-16 After Dramatic Night.

A dramatic Tuesday night of Champions League football saw goals and drama galore, with Manchester City proving group contender after a 4-0 defeat to Barcelona a fortnight ago by defeating the Spanish giant on a 3-1 to go second in their group.

Pep Guariola side are now second and three point ahead of third-placed Borussia Monchengladbach and just two points behind Group C leaders Barcelona with two games remaining from their group.
After a strong early penalty claim from Raheem Sterling which saw him booked for diving, City's frustration grew in the 21st minute when Lionel Messi slot in a Neymar pass from a speedy counter attack.

Ilkay Gundogan equalize minutes just before end of first half after Barca's Sergi Roberto mistake cost them the equalizing goal.
Kevin de Bruyne second half superb free-kick put Manchester City ahead for the first time in the match, before Gundogan secure the win with his second for the night to earn Pep Guardiola a deserving win over his former club.

ARSENAL battled to complete a positive night for English sides in the competition, winning 3-2 away at Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad.
The home side surprised the Gunners by going 2-0 lead after 14 minutes of played with goals coming from Jonathan Cafu in the 12th-minute and Claudio Keseru two minutes later after taking advantage of poor set piece defending from the north Londoners.

Arsene Wengers side came back strong and rewarded with a fine finish from Granit Xhaka in the 20th-minute and a Giroud header in the 42nd-minute bring the Gunners level score going into the half time break.
The game turnaround came up in the 88th-minute when the German playmaker Mesut Ozil got the long ball from Mohammed Elneny who set him free alone with the Ludogorets keeper, Ozil make a brilliant chipping of the ball over the keeper before cutting inside two defenders and slotting the ball to the back of the net with his favorite left foot and send Arsenal into the last-16 of the Champions League for another year under Wenger's leadership and also maintain the Top of Group C  ahead of French side Paris Saint Germain.

PSG join Arsenal in the last-16 after the french side won a 2-1 away at Basel, thanks to the last minute goal from Thomas Munier. With Arsenal and PSG on 10 points apiece, the clash between the pair at the Emirate is likely to decide who tops the group.

ATLETICO MADRID left it late to snatch a 2-1 home victory to Russian side FC Rostov, reaching the next round, thanks to the efforts of Antoine Griezmann for scoring a delightful flick to open the scoring, but Sardar Azmoun equaliser gave Atletico work to do. Lately in the 93rd-minute Antoine Griezmann once again flick in off the bar to gave his side the lead and got himself second goal for the night.

Elswhere PSV lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich with Robert Lewandowski scoring twice to alo send the Group D side through, while Benfica beat Dynamo Kiev 1-0. Celtic star Mousa Dembele rescued a 1-1 draw against Borrusia Monchengladbach from the penalty spot. Besiktas and Napoli also grabbed a goal apiece in the day's early kickoff.
