Super Eagles of Nigeria get the better side of the match as they defeated the Chipolopolo of Zambia in their group World Cup qualifier.

Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Zambian national team ended with 2-goals to one in favor of the Nigerian team which saw the young boys Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho getting the goals for Nigeria in the first half of the game.

Nigeria are the better side in the first 45-minutes of the game, Arsenal's Alex Iwobi struck in the ball with a right foot shot which saw Kennedy Mweene's effort not good enough to stop the ball from getting into the net in the 33rd minute which gives Nigeria the deserved lead.
Ten minutes interval to the first goal, Kelechi Iheanacho recieved a good pass from Brown Ideye and took the ball to drible pass the Zambian goalkeeper and take his effort to put the ball into the back of the opponent net and takes Nigeria lead to second in the game.

Zambian national team took all the effort to the Nigerian team in the second half of the game, forcing the Super Eagle goal keepers some fine save and disturbing their defence line.
A poor defense clear out from Keneth Omeruo in the 71st minute cost Nigeria which saw Collins Mbesuma taking the ball and making a fine turning to shot the ball into the net of the Super Eagle. But his goal is not enough to save them from their opening game of the world cup qualifier.

Coach Gernot Rohr lead the Super Eagles of Nigeria to their first win on the soil of Zambia and take all the three point needed.
