PREMIER LEAGUE WEEKEND REVIEW OF NIGERIAN PLAYERS.

Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho were on score list for their clubs over the weekend.

The English Premier League took to play over the weekend for the game-nine of the 2016-17 campaign season.
Nigerian players in Premier League prove worthy start and worthy play for their clubs as some players got on the score sheet for their clubs and some participate to the success win of their game. Punditsport bring to you list and performance over the weekend to their respective clubs.


ARSENAL:
Alex Iwobi was in the starting line up for the Gunners over the weekend and played up 67 minutes against Middlesbrough at the Emirate. Iwobi had a good game in the first half of the game after making some impressive dribling and forward pass to Sanchez and Ozil, but all effort to help his team get the neccessary goal needed come to end in the second half when Arsene Wenger decided to substitute him for Lucas.
Iwobi got the applaud from the fans around while he was walking down to the substitute lane in the 67 minutes.


WATFORD:
Odion Ighalo is a 90 minutes appearance for Watford on Saturday at the Liberty Stadium against Swansea City.
Ighalo, who is paired with Troy deeney to partner at the striking role were the best player to watch by their fans as both got some good chances over Swansea defence line but were unlucky to record a goal.
Isaac Success was the un-used Nigerian player in the encounter which saw Watford and Swansea end in a goaless draw.


LEICESTER CITY:
Ahmed Musa was listed in the starting line up by coach Claudio Ranieri for Leicester City at the King Power Stadium. The Nigerian forward man got his first Premier League goal for Leicester City in the 42-minute of the encounter after a brilliant pace which he took a range short with his right foot to see the better side of Crysral Pacae goalkeeper and put his team ahead in the first half, he got the assist from the club record signing Islam Slimani.
Musa contributed more for his club before he was substituted in the 81st-minute for Demarai Gray at a 3-0 up scoreline.


MANCHESTER CITY:
Kelechi Iheanacho was a second half appearance for Pep Guardiola's men at the Etihad Stadium against Southampton. Iheanacho came-in in the 46-minutes for the Belgian play-maker Kevin De Bruyne, ten minutes after his presence o the pitch he got the equalizing goal with a close range slot in goal scoring after he was assisted by German new signing Leroy Sane.
Iheanacho this season have scored THREE GOALS in the Premier League under Pep Guardiola.


CHELSEA: 
Victor Moses was among Conte's squad that brush of former manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Moses has been impressive this season for The Blues, and yesterday Moses was highly impressive in the counter attack while he was operating from the right side for his club and have some fine cut-in pass to the center man Diego Costa.
Moses fail to record a goal for his club in the 4-0 demolishing of Manchester United of Mourinho.
Nigerian Teammate Mikel Obi once again failed to make the list of the available players for the match.
