The English Premier League set a world record of €1.4BN spent on transfer window from a single League, with Manchester City being the club with the highest spending transfer in the  summer after Pep Guardiola splash a total of €200 million to secure services of new players to the club.

Paul Pogba set a world record as the most expensive player in history of football in transfer market, having moved from Juventus to Manchester United in a worth of €105 million to play under new manager Jose Mourinho.
