ARSENAL Don't Want To See WENGER Lured Away By ENGLAND

Arsenal are bracing themselves for an England approach in pursuit of Arsene Wenger - but they are ready to fend them off by handing Wenger a new contract at the club.

Football Association Chiefs are keen on Arsene Wenger and will make strong inquiries whether he will be interested in taking the England senior team job when his current deal with the Gunners expires next summer.

Arsenal are set to have a contract discussion with the Frenchman during this season and are likely to hand the 66-year-old a new two-year-deal.

The FA spoke to Wenger in the summer after Roy Hodgson depart from England senior team following the humiliating Euro exit at the hand of |Iceland.
But those discussion did not go far as they realized he[Wenger] was committed to Arsenal and instead use him as a sounding board, before eventually appointing Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce.

Wenger who reaches 20 years in charge of the North Londoners at the end of the month has yet to decide his future at the club and insist how the season pans out may decide whether he stays, but the Frenchman would be reluctant to walk away if he feels the team he's built can bring sustained success.
