MOURINHO: No Manchester Derby Start For RASHFORD

Marcus Rashford, 18, maintained United's 100 per cent league record in injury-time with a poacher's finish from wayne Rooney's cross after coming off the bench.

But the youngster, left out Allardyce's first senior England squad in order to drop down for the Under-21's isn't guaranteed his first competitive start under Mourinho for their next match against Manchester City on September 10 - despite scoring the winner against them last time under Louis Van Gaal.

"it's not him being a match winner that makes me change my mind, said Mourinho in a post match conference. "You are not going to drop another player when they are doing well.
"Our number one striker (Zlatan Ibrahimovic) is an amazing player. He is not just a goalscorer, he associates with other players, creates space.
"We can start some matches with another player infront of Zlatan but you have to be very dominant to play that way.
"Rashford can play or he can be on the bench. The kid is going to be playing a lot of matches this season.
"I knew he was good last season and now working with him everyday, I think the same, He gave us diversity when he came on.

Rashford who also scored the winner against Leicester in the community Shield at Wembley, said: "Amazing. It was the first away game for me this season and i'm happy to get the three points and a goal.
"The fans came onto the pitch to celebrate and that is part of football. I am getting on in training and waiting for moments like this.
'It is amazing being around players like Zlatan everyday. I am learning a lot from them.
