MATCH PREVIEW: Nigeria U23 Men Battle for Bronze Medal At Rio

African U23 Champions, Nigeria will battle Honduras for their third-place play off match at the ongoing Rio-2016 Olympics men football for a chance to have the bronze medal.

The Dream Team VI lost there semi-final game to the European Germans by 2 unreplied goals. The lost means Nigeria won't be able to repeat the feat of the Atlanta 96 Olympics.

onduras were also beaten by the host country Brazil with a 6-0 demolishing in other semi-final game but they have already shown that they can shock Nigeria to claim the bronze medal later today.

Samson Siasia's men will be boosted in their squad by the return of their top scorer Oghenekaro Etebo who missed the quater-final and semi-final game after picking up an injury in their match against Colombia at the group stage.
Azubuike Okechukwu will also be available for the first team selection after completing his one-match suspension which he got at the quater-final game.

The 3rd place match will be played today August 20, at 5:00pm Nigerian Time.
