AGUERO could miss Manchester Derby If Found Guilty.

Sergio Aguero could face retrospective action after television cameras caught him apearing to catch a Winston Reid with his elbow in the win against West Ham on Sunday.

Manchester City are hopeful Sergio Aguero could escape a ban ahead of the derby against fivals Manchester United due to the positioning of refree Andre Marriner when the striker's apparent elbow on Winston Reid took place.

A video replays appear to show Aguero swinging his elbow in the direction of Hammers defender, who went off shortly after, report the Manchester Evening News

Both Managers, Pep Guardiola and Slaven Bilic claimed not to have seen the incident.
If the FA choose to review the footage it could lead to a three-game ban for Aguero, who would miss the Manchester derby on September 10.
But there is hope at City that the case will not even go before an FA review panel, because the incident was clearly seen by the refree.

Former Premier League refree refree Graham Poll claims the FA "must" take retrospective action - writing from dailymail "Andre Marriner failed to see the elbow despite his proximity and so the FA will be able to use Video evidence and charge him.

If Marriner confirms he did see the incident it does not automatically mean Aguero will escape punishment, but likelihood is that no futher action will be taken -  which is City's hope ahead of Guardiola's First meeting with Jose Mourinho in their new jobs.
