Manchester City 1-1 Borussia Dortmund... ( Penalty: (6 - 5)

The Premier League side seemed to have settled the tie when Sergio Aguero opened the scoring, but a late goal from Thomas Tuchel's forced the game into penalties.

Manchester City's Jose Tasende was the hero this afternoon as he scored the winning penalty as they defeat Borussia Dortmund 6-5 in a shootout.

The Bundesliga side turned their attention to the Red Devils' local rival after thrashing Manchester United 4-1, but were unable to truly dominate against Guardiola's new charges.
A tame, slow affairs was brought to life y City's start man Sergio Aguero opened the scoring in the second half, only for Dortmund to fight back and pull level with the last kick of the ball.

There was a contentious moment in injury time in the second half when Shinji Kagawa went down in the box, but the referee waved away the penalty claims.

Manchester City Won the 6-5 on penalty.
